This week we're celebrating Johnny-5's birthday with another trip through a Die Hard movie! Only problem is it's Die Hard 2, and if you've seen Die Hard 2, you know what a rough, boring, gunfight-filled ride we're in for. What makes a Die Hard movie? Does setting a movie at Christmas automatically count it as a Christmas movie? Is this the movie that drove Renny Harlin off the deep end? Tune in for the answers to these questions and more!

It's another Redboxing Day, everybody! This week's movie asks the question, "What if Santa was actually the devil?" So head on down to your local Redbox, check out Krampus and come on back for our discussion of the movie's comedy/horror dynamic. This may be our most contentious episode yet, as our three co-hosts' reactions to this film run the gamut from bitter contempt to utter delight.

This week we dive into Lethal Weapon, the first of several holiday-themed films from screenwriter Shane Black. Will holiday depression get the best of Mel Gibson's Martin Riggs? (There are three sequels, so no.) How many cheesy buddy cop movie tropes can one movie possibly start? Does Lethal Weapon have anything at all to do with The Karate Kid? Tune in to find out!

Last episode we called our shot and said we'd discuss The Night Before, and this week we finally make good on our promise. Three best friends find themselves growing older and growing apart while embarking on one last holiday bar crawl. Secrets are revealed, grievances are aired, and allllllll the drugs are taken. Believe it or not, though, this one wound up hitting us all right in the feels. That's how the kids say it, right? The feels?

This week we decided to celebrate St. Patrick's Day by watching the greenest thing we could find: From 1994, it's "We Wish You a Turtle Christmas", a live-action direct-to-video Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Christmas special! And because we'd rather be talking about literally anything else, we also discuss the existential crisis of Master Splinter, nitpick the differences between the various Ghostbusters movie trailers, and Karyn pitches a movie about Joe going back to school as an undercover teenager.

This week on the podcast, we discuss the family Christmas movie Love The Coopers. Through the ridiculous power of marketing, Redbox tried to convince us this was a Valentine's Day movie. We may be a bunch of dummies, but we're not that dumb. I mean... We rented, watched, and did an episode about it, but we're not thaaaat dumb. Happy belated-Valentine's Day and also Leap Day, everyone!

Happy February, gang! This week we popped our heads out of our podcast bunker and didn’t see our shadow, which as you know means go back four spaces and do Halloween all over again. In 1996, Universal scraped together a little bit of cash, rewrote A Charlie Brown Christmas and crapped out The Munsters’ Scary Little Christmas for broadcast television. In this episode, not only do we improbably land on one of the ultimate truths of Christmas, but also discover how to solve global warming the Final Fantasy way!

Last week the world lost one of holiday cinema's greatest villains in Alan Rickman. So since we covered Die Hard six months ago, this week we discuss Rickman's other modern holiday classic: Love Actually. Join us and returning guest Drew Meyer as we talk about intersecting narratives, Billy Bob Thornton's secret fear, post-9/11 airports, and a whole lot more! (Seriously, this episode's a long one.)

Merry Christmas, friends! This week we're taking a break from watching and yelling about holiday movies so that we can kick up our feet, have a few drinks, and play some holiday games. What holiday games, you might ask? Well, let's just say we surprised ol' Bradford with a game some might consider a crime against humanity...

It's December, which means it's time to take a break from Christmas movies. Instead, we're celebrating July at Christmas, and what better expression of July than Roland Emmerich's 1996 action epic Independence Day! Also, fun fact: We recorded this episode literally the day before the trailer for the sequel dropped. Fortuitous timing, but that means we couldn't break it down in all sorts of stupid ways. C'est la vie.

Just because Halloween is over doesn't mean the Horrordays can't continue! This week we're taking one last dip into the spooks and scares of the season with Jack Frost. No, not the one where Michael Keaton comes back to life as a snowman who hugs kids. The one where a serial killer comes back to life as a snowman who kills kids. And adults. This snowman does not discriminate.

It's Home for the Horrordays here on Christmas Creeps, and we're celebrating all the holiday spooks and scares with a musical about the most popular guy in town and the job that he hates! It's Henry Selick's Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas!

October is the season for all things spooky and monstrous, and for us that can only mean one thing: GREMLINS! Join us on a ridiculous 70-minute ride through Joe Dante's 1984 classic about little green maniacs tearing up Ronald Reagan's America.

It's Labor Day, which means we've rounded the corner and officially entered the season of actual Christmas Creep. And what better way to celebrate the unofficial start of fall than with a cozy little film about hillbilly otters and their hootjug holiday?

This week, the Creeps attempt to wrestle some sense out of Peewee Herman's 1988 Christmas special, resulting in one of our least coherent episodes to date. I'm sorry, Santa. If you think this episode is really some dumb bad nonsense, why not email us and tell Johnny 5 all about it?

This week we're embarking on a ridiculous mission to watch the entire Home Alone series backwards, starting with 2013's made-for-TV Home Alone 5: The Holiday Heist. A kid who's not Kevin McCallister defends a home that's not in Chicago, IL from burglars (and Malcolm McDowell) who aren't trying to steal everything in the house. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

On this week's episode, the Creeps take a rocketship to the dopiest sci-fi Christmas movie ever made: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians! Not gonna lie, this episode starts running out of steam once we realize there really isn't a whole lot worth discussing about this movie. It's that transparent and terrible. But the conversation careens into some weird topics, so gird your loins and stick it out! No, not like that, you weirdos!

This week, the Creeps discuss the Christmas movie that set the template for all other movies in which a complete idiot rescues a holiday from the clutches of despair. That's right, Ernest saved Christmas before it was cool. Deal with it.

It's Birthday Boy's Choice this week as we celebrate Johnny-5's birthday by watching and discussing the granddaddy of all holiday heist movies starring Bruce Willis. That's right, we're watching Hudson Hawk, but for some reason the conversation immediately reverted back to Die Hard. Go figure.

A special guest drops by for this week's episode, in which we honor the memory of Robin Williams by watching and discussing one of his last feature films: A Merry Friggin' Christmas. Hold on tight, folks, it's about to get real up in this 'cast.
